Since over 25 years, ITW Nexus have been a pioneer within the field of plastic buckles and closure components. ITW Nexus offers a wide range of products, manufactured in materials such as Acetal, Nexcel, Nexlon, Nylon 6/6 and Elastomeric Resin, to face special requirements and military specifications (Mil-Spec). Their GhillieTEX I.R. Signature Reduction Technology offer the cloaking benefits of IR Signal Reduction for military needs, and PyroTEX Fire Resistant Technology assures flame retardant, self-extinguishing materials.
Duraflex
Duraflex is a division of National Molding, that have have been producing molded products since 1969, and offer the widest range of Berry Compliant hardware in the United States. Working closely with the Armed Services, National Molding are constantly working to improve and develop their products. Duraflex products are utilized by avid backpackers and climbers, who also benefit from the superior plastic load-bearing buckle and fastener technology of Duraflex products.
Research in cooperation with military research facilities, has brought us their infrared resistant colors, offered for most of their products. Using tough materials such as Acetal, Nylon and Polypropelene. Since its founding in 1802, DuPont have given us a number of invaluable materials, which have turned Sci-Fi fantasies into reality. With products like Nylon, Nomex, Kevlar, Cordura, Neoprene, Mylar and Lycra – it is practically impossible to avoid getting in contact with their innovations in everyday life.
Among other materials, we put their nylon fabric Cordura into heavy use. This is an abrasion resistant nylon fabric, engineered for durability, strength, lightness and a minimum need for care – just like we want it. Cordura is one of the most versatile fabrics available, ideal for a wide range of military and outdoor apparel & equipment uses. Cordura provides endurance and rugged durability for equipment exposed to extreme conditions, and is resistant to cuts, tears and scuffs. Being 10 times more durable than average cotton duck, three times more durable than standard polyester and two times more durable than standard nylon – Cordura is the natural choice when it comes to our fabric needs.
